Precious linden wood tea table, with the refined lines typical of furnishings in pure Louis XIV style produced in eighteenth-century Venetian workshops. Carved and gilded by hand, the coffee table is a Made in Italy luxury piece of furniture. The tea table is reproduced from the model of the period model dating back to the second half of the 1700s, present inside the prestigious Venetian residence Palazzo Labia.
The top of the golden coffee table has an insert in impact-resistant tempered glass and a finely hand-carved structure. The 4 support legs are connected by a shaped and carved cross with a central pine cone turned and sculpted in the typical Louis XIV style.
The structure of the golden coffee table is made of solid linden essence. The insert is in tempered glass, resistant to shocks. The gilding is done in gold leaf.
The Louis XIV Venetian Baroque style tea table is custom-made in the Vangelista Mobili 1960 high-end cabinet-making Venetian workshop. The whole structure is hand-carved on the bench with gouges and chisels and all the components are joined with "male female" joint. It is gilded with lightly patinated gold leaf with earth powders and with a thin metal sheet that is applied repeatedly.
The table in gilded linden is produced in the 140x80x47h dimension. Being carved and gilded by hand, it can be reproduced to measure.

While visiting Palazzo Labia in Venice we were struck by a gracious 18th century sitting room with a magnificent and refined finely hand-carved table in the centre. Given the peculiarity of the carvings, we immediately thought of reproducing it faithfully while maintaining the same aesthetic characteristics. To make it, we selected a lot of photographic material, to be sure of all the necessary details, and traced the shapes of the legs and the lower crosspiece on a plywood panel. All the building material, precious and necessary for the reproduction of this luxurious coffee table, is conserved in our Vangelista Mobili 1960 high cabinet-making workshop.
