Model Structure

The inlaid table desk in walnut wood with sabre shaped legs and 3 drawers is in a rectangular shape and decorated as a centre room furniture (that is with all decorated sides), in the front, there are 3 drawers and a central removable tablet as a book or computer support. It is supported by 4 sabre shaped legs.

Raw Material

The '700 classic Venetian Asolean table is made of precious walnut wood, the inside of drawers is made of lime wood and the refined oval handles are reproduced in bronze, from the original writing desk.

Manufacture

The desktop is assembled with slot-in joint systems to keep stability and stregth. The sudes, legs and back are assembled wit a mortise and tenon joint. The desktop is decorated with an inlaid thread 4 mm. thick in precious maple and ebony in a diamond pattern. The furniture is supported by 4 finely sabre shaped legs derived from solid walnut. The inside of drawers are put toghether with dovetail joints. The legs and the frame's band is enlightened by a shaped corner. The polishing enahnces the amazing walnut and completely handmade with the same techniques of 18th century used by Venetian craftsmen, with natural clays dissolved in water for the right shade, antiqued with stone and established by shellac applied with a brush. Final protection with a pad soaked of straw-yellow oil and pumice stone, to highlight the chromatism and the grain of walnut, and a warm appearance. The ring-shaped handles of drawers are made of bronze and reproduced from the original with lost-wax casting technique, handpolished with a soft cloth.
