Luxurious rectangular coffee table with the top reproduced in the classic ‘700 Asolano Veneto style, inlaid with rare and precious exotic essences. The refined lines, embellished by the original inlays, make it a piece of furniture of value and high cabinet-making.

Model Description

Model Structure

The structure of the coffee table has 4 support legs in solid walnut shaped in the shape of a "saber", which lighten the structure. The top is enriched by important hand-inlaid threads, both in the edge and in the edge of the side. In the central part of the top stands a refined inlay with a geometric design in precious essences of maple, ebony, rosewood, American walnut, cherry and padouk, an African essence in a bright red color. The lower part of the top is shaped in the shape of an "S" with the longitudinal grain that attests to the high craftsmanship of the coffee table. The external profiles of the top and the shaped edge have a design inlaid with exotic woods of maple, ebony and rosewood worked in a "herringbone" pattern.

Raw Material

The coffee table is made to measure in solid walnut. The support legs are made from a solid piece of solid walnut and the top is enriched by an original inlay for which precious essences of maple, padouk, ebony, rosewood, American walnut and cherry have been used.

Manufacture

The inlaid coffee table was designed, built and polished in the laboratory of the luxury brand Vangelista Mobili 1960. The same methods used in the 18th century in Veneto were used for the hand polishing, following the Farsetti method and using only natural products to obtain the desired shade; slightly antiqued with stone, the coffee table has been polished with shellac paint applied with a brush and finished with a polished wick with a pad to bring out the magnificent veins and colors of the walnut to the maximum.

Century of use

The original coffee table is located in the upper Vicenza area. We viewed the vintage model in a private home of one of our customers, given the originality of the shapes and the elegance of the structure, with the kind permission of the owner he allowed us to reproduce it. After 25 years we have built several sizes of this exclusive model of hand-inlaid living room table in our art and high cabinetry workshop.

A distanza di 25 anni abbiamo costruito dentro il nostro laboratorio d'arte e di alta ebanisteria, parecchi dimensioni di questo esclusivo modello di tavolo da salotto intarsiato a mano.
