Oval coffee table with 4 saber-shaped legs, reproduced from the original model in solid walnut. The oval shape and veneered workmanship denote the typicality of 18th century Venetian furnishings. The elegance of the structure makes the coffee table perfectly suitable for both modern and classic furnishing contexts.
The oval coffee table is supported by 4 saber-shaped legs in solid walnut, joined by a 4-star cross.
The top and the frame are made of solid fir essence, veneered with a 4 mm thick walnut veneer. Only natural products are used for polishing.
The oval coffee table is reproduced following the same construction lines and processes as in the 1700s. It is hand-polished with natural products: water-based dyes to obtain the desired shade, shel-lac paint applied with a brush. Even the light antiquing is expertly handcrafted with stone. The cof-fee table is finished with a wick with 13 steps according to the "Farsetti" method to highlight the warm veins and chromaticity of the walnut.
The oval coffee table is produced in 2 dimensions: 120x71x47h. - 130x76x47h. Being built and polished by hand, it can be reproduced to measure in terms of dimensions, quality of essences and type of polishing.
The original of the oval coffee table in solid fir veneered in walnut dates back to the second half of the 18th century.
A few years ago one of our antique dealer customers asked us to restore an original 1700 living room table. Brought to our laboratory, we were struck by the grace of the lines and, given the strong demand for oval-shaped tables, on courtesy of our client we decided to reproduce it faithfully. All the necessary shapes have been traced, from the shape of the legs, to the connecting cross, up to the oval shape of the top, activities necessary to be able to reproduce it by hand.
