The original Venetian 18th century Luigi XV style rounded desk in walnut-root and inlaid in rosewood dates back to the first half of 18th century.
The original desk is in the entrance of Palazzo Malipiero, in San Marco's sestriere, Venice. In that period, that is 1730, the desk was used to keep the accounts of the palace. We have retrieved the documents and we noticed some ink spots and stamp marks on the desktop. We fell in love with the elegance and originality of the furniture so we decided to reproduce the original in 2 sizes, only changing the polishing, for a desk which is perfect both for classic and contemporary furnishing. Thanks to our passion for Venetian furniture and more than 55 years of experience, we are the only Italian company able to reproduce in all its details this Venetian 18th century Luigi XV style rounded desk in walnut-root and inlaid in rosewood.
