Model Description

Model Structure

The desk with sabre shaped legs in walnut wood is refined on all sides and, in the front, 6 drawers with a removable central tablet as a book or computer support. The frame is supported by 4 sabre shaped legs to enlighten the structure. The desk is ideal for entrance, office and living rooms.

Raw Material

The centre room desk is made of walnut, a precious wood whose grain is enhanced by the polishing. The inside of drawers is made of solid spruce wood, used by craftsmen from Vicentino during the 18th century.

Manufacture

The staves of the desk are put together by strong slot-in joint systems to maintain stability and remain firm over time, the back and the sides are assembled with tenon and mortise joints. The desktop has a moulded profile, embellished by a shaped cornice, as well as the 7 drawers. The supporting legs are sabre shaped and derived from solid walnut. Polished with old techniques and natural clays for the right shade, slightly antiqued with stone and established by shellac applied with a brush, protected by brown virgin beeswax with a soft cotton cloth. The construction and polishing of the desk are completely hand-made.
