Shaped sideboard in Venetian Baroque style in walnut root with 2 doors, made and inlaid in precious woods, with hand-carved legs, perfect for important entrances and luxurious dining rooms. Faithful reproduction of the original model dating back to the mid-eighteenth century Palazzo Ca ‘Biondetti in Venice.
The refined "bow" shape of the sideboard and the execution of the sculpted legs recall the typicality of the Louis XV style. The sideboard has 2 doors.
The stem is entirely built with vertically assembled spruce wood slats and then veneered with precious walnut essences worked in a herringbone pattern in the centers. The doors and the top, which reflect the same workmanship, are in veneered ferrarese walnut with a thickness of 4 mm. prepared to "open spot" and enriched with inlaid rosewood and maple threads. The legs are carved, shaped and sculpted by hand on solid walnut, according to the same craftsmanship of the eighteenth century made by the Venetian cabinet makers. The legs are shaped and carved on solid walnut wood. Only natural products are used for polishing.
The construction of this precious furniture is to be considered an example of high cabinet-making, being entirely made in our artisan workshop respecting the same construction techniques of the Venetian shops of the eighteenth century.
The Louis XV style furniture is made in the 132x54x102h size. Being built and inlaid by hand, the sideboard can be customized in terms of dimensions, essences and finishes.
The 2-door briar sideboard is a faithful reproduction of the 18th century artifact located at Palazzo Cà Biondetti in Venice.
A few years ago we won a contract for the conservative restoration and reproduction of some prestigious furnishings located inside Palazzo Cà Biondetti in Venice. Among these stood out also this original sideboard, shaped in the sides and in the front, inlaid in walnut and with hand-carved legs. We have therefore reproduced a custom-made pair, but of reduced size compared to the original model, because the two cupboards had to be positioned inside a niche. Proud to be the only artisan company that reproduces Venetian beliefs with the same working methods of the eighteenth century.
