Refined handcrafted reproduction of a pair of convex nightstands, hand-lacquered in antiqued black with bronzes in classical Louis XV Baroque style from the 18th century. Custom-made products in small sizes, they are two precious items of extraordinary elegance that find the right place both in classic and contemporary furnishings.
The item has 2 drawers, enriched by important bronze accessories made with the ancient technique of lost wax, fused on the ground mold. The bedside tables, supported by tall legs, have rounded lines on all sides.
The two black bedside tables are reproduced by hand in solid linden wood. The accessories, handles and feet, are of bronze.
The same construction techniques of the 18th century were used for the reproduction of the bedside tables. Coated with gray earth and polished with a cloth, they have been lacquered by hand in an antique black.
The nightstands are reproduced in the measures 50,5x29x60,5h. They are customizable for dimension, essences and finishes according to customer needs.
The original bedside table belongs to the first half of the 1700s. This important reproduction refers explicitly to the Louis XV Baroque Venetian style, which has characterized and revolutionized the eighteenth-century cabinet-making.
A Venetian customer contacted us for the purchase of a pair of original bedside tables dating back to the first half of the eighteenth century, which we found in a private house in Venice. Given the high demand of our customers for this kind of furniture of small sizes with rounded shapes, we decided to faithfully reproduce them in solid lime wood lacquered in black with bronze inserts.
