Pair of fine bedside tables with turned legs, decorated in Tyrolean style of the 1700s, with a drawer and a door with stylized flowers. The originality of the shape of these important cabinets and their handmade decoration make them a piece of furniture of high artisan value that can be easily inserted in prestigious houses and mountain residences.
The structure is small, with a drawer and a door, divided by a refined molded frame in the shape of a "bull". The Tyrolean decorated furniture bedside table is supported by hand-turned legs, typical of the Trentino furniture produced inside the shops during the flourishing eighteenth century. They are decorated with natural polychrome tempera: the main color is sage green, with beige paneling in the center and the profiles lacquered in burnt sienna red. The decorations represent stylized floral subjects, characteristic elements of the Val di Sole, on the panel of the door and on the drawer. The top is decorated with baroques and soft beige colored flowers.
The bedside tables with a drawer and a door are made of solid spruce, hand-lacquered with natural products.
The bedside cabinets with a drawer and a door are constructed with mortise and tenon joints, the legs are fixed to the shaft by means of a solid and sturdy pin. The drawers are worked with a dovetail joint, which increases the value of the artifacts. The most complex processing is given by the decoration: they are hand-lacquered with natural products, on a preparation base made with a gypsum plaster mixture consumed with a spatula, which creates an effect with an antique flavor thanks also to the skilful coating with black earth dust.
The bedside cabinets are made in the size: 46x35x85h. They can be reproduced according to size, type of color and decorative subjects.
The bedside cabinets are reproduced with the same characteristics as the original model, dating back to the second half of the 1700s in classic Tyrolean style, of which the provenance is credited to the area of the beautiful Val di Sole in Trentino-Alto Adige.
We made this beautiful pair of bedside cabinets decorated with stylized flower vases for one of our Cyprus customers, who has a residence in San Cassiano in Badia, and who chose shades of green with cream-colored central panels to bring out a strong emphasis the decorations of the doors with stylized flower vases. The Vangelista Mobili 1960 brand is still committed to reproduce 17th and 18th century Tyrolean furniture, thus keeping alive the forms and working methods used in the workshops of the time.
