Sideboard cabinet TV stand with an advanced body in walnut wood, with “sabre” shaped legs, in classic Piedmontese Luigi Filippo style. The broken line with the advanced body dates back to the first half of 19th century.
The sideboard cabinet has 2 lateral doors and 5 central drawers; the drawer under the plan is shaped and makes the product elegant and refined. The furniture is supported by "sabre" shaped legs which slim the TV stand, and they are divided by a fine cornice around the cabinet's perimeter.
The sideboard cabinet TV stand with an advanced body in walnut wood is made of precious walnut wood, the interior part is made of solid spruce wood, whereas the exterior part is veneered (veneering 3 mm thick) with a precious type of walnut "trunk effect" to enhance the dark grain of the central part of the body and it is enriched by an inlaid thread in maple wood. The legs are made of walnut wood. Handlers and keyhole covers are made of hand-chiselled bronze, like the original.
The structure of the sideboard cabinet TV stand with an advanced body in walnut wood is assembled with tenon and mortise, frequently used by Venetian craftsmen, the interior part is coated by a 3 mm veneering and enriched on doors, drawers and plan by an inlaid thread in maple wood with bright colours, which highlights from dark hazelnut. The back is assembled with a cross framework, the drawers are put together with "dovetail" joints for an even better product. Polished with old techniques, natural clays to obtain the right shade, slightly antiqued by stone and established by shellac applied with a stone. Last but not least, the most important step: the finishing with a pad soaked in shellac and straw yellow oil, with continuous circular movements to enhance dark grain and walnut's chromaticism.

The peculiarity of sabre shaped legs is typical of Piedomentese furnishings built in 19th century by Piedmontese craftsmen, who decided to enlighten the furniture and lift them with supporting legs. Currently, the original sideboard cabinet TV stand with an advanced body in walnut wood is in the internal hall of Palazzo Scaglia di VErrua, in Turin. Vangelista Mobili 1960 has reproduced the furniture with the same features thanks to detailed pictures and technical dimensional drawings. The furniture is completely manufactured in our art laboratory, 100& Made in Italy.
