Luxurious carved bedside cabinet decorated in pure Tyrolean baroque style of the 18th century with flowers, built with 3 ashlar drawers, ideal for mountain furnishings.
The structure has 3 ashlar drawers, typical workmanship of the Trentino furnishings dating back to the end of the 1600s and the beginning of the 1700s. The top is worked with the profile of a rounded owl beak. The plinth, which lightens the whole piece of furniture, is open in the center and shaped like an "arch" both in the front and in the side, embellished with a molded frame in the shape of "s". The sides are surrounded by an elegant frame. The piece of furniture is lacquered by hand in polychrome with decorative subjects depicting flowers and a vase with flowers, in the vivid shades of Persia red, ocher yellow, blue and beige.
All external structure is made of solid fir wood, an essence that is well suited to the application of lacquer. Water-based tempera paints and shellac paints, virgin beeswax, all natural products are used for the decorations.
The originality of the artifact lies in the processing of the drawers with a "bugna", carved in bas-relief from a solid piece of solid lime wood. The interiors are assembled with a "dovetail" joint. The most complex and laborious processing is given by the decoration with water-based tempera by means of a series of brushes of various diameters: the cabinet is lacquered by hand in polychromy in the bright shades of Persia red, tempera color realized and composed within our laboratory, ocher yellow, blue and beige reflecting the characteristics of fine furnishings in the 18th century Baroque Tyrolean style. The application of the semi-liquid mixture "chalk Bologna" on the piece of furniture gives it an antique appearance: the plaster is applied with a spatula and left to dry, so that the coating given by the earth penetrates into its imperfections.
The model is made in 2 sizes 65x38x79h. - 65x38x95h. with 4 drawers. It can be made to measure for dimensions and decorations. We give customers the opportunity to see and touch the cabinet in the rough to decide together the final product, a feature that sets us apart in the sector.
