One-door bedside cabinet, custom-painted in polychrome with baroque subjects in beige tones on an aviation colored and light green background. Ideal as an entrance cabinet or bedroom nightstand for mountain residences.
The structure is made with a drawer and a door. The plan has a refined throat-shaped molded frame that lightens and embellishes the item. Supported by 4 hand-turned supports, it is painted in polychrome with baroque subjects in beige tones on an aviation colored and light green background.
The bedside cabinet with turned legs is produced in essence of solid spruce, wood typically used from 1500 to 1800 in the artisan workshops of Val Badia for the realization of the Trentino furnishings because it is well suited to the laying and fixing of lacquering, being a wood with a compact fiber . Water-based temperas are used for lacquering.
The bedside cabinet is custom built and decorated by hand, lacquered with water-based tempera on a base of gypsum-based Bologna, coated with natural earth that gives an antique effect.
Constructed and decorated by hand, therefore it can be made to order for dimensions, color shades and decorations, the cabinet measures 47x35x85h.
The cabinet is a perfect reproduction dating back to the second half of the 1700s. The original cabinet is traced back to the thriving artisan area of Val Badia.
We have reproduced from the original model a pair of bedside cabinets in Tyrolean "700 baroque style commissioned by one of our customers who inserted them in a bedroom of his prestigious hotel in Courmayeur, Val d'Aosta. Vangelista Mobili 1960 is proud to be able to furnish the best hotels and mountain residences with faithful luxury hand-made reproductions, which fully satisfy an increasingly demanding clientele looking for exclusive pieces.
