The original round extending table with sabre-shaped legs dates back to the 18th century.
The story behind this table is curious. The owners of the beautiful Palladian Villa Lodi, in Lugo di Vicenza, contacted us to see a couple of original round tables dating back to 18th century to restore them. When the tables arrived at our laboratory, one of our customers noticed them and, being impressed by the shape of the legs and the precious walnut embellished by an inlaid thread made of maple and padouk, immediately asked us for a reproduction with the right dimension for his room. By courtesy of the owners, we retrieved the shape of the legs and the outline on plywood, detailed pictures and technical dimensional drawings with every detail, for a perfect reproduction. The selection of woods to employ makes Vangelista Mobili 1960 one of the few artisan companies to reproduce and customize original exclusive furnishing, 100% luxury Made in Italy.
