The tea table is made of solid lime wood. The table top is made of tempered glass of 8 mm thick.
The sculpted legs are hand-carved with gouges and chisels, then gouache lacquered in gold and silver leaf in our high cabinetry workshop. The luxury brand Vangelista Mobili 1960 has been making this model in various sizes for over 15 years and is proud to reproduce models in 18th century Baroque Venetian style using the same methodologies used in the artisan shops of the 1700s.
The living room table is produced in 2 sizes: 128x75x47h. – 140x80x47h. Being handcrafted and sculpted, it can be customized in terms of size and type of gilding.
The tea and smoking table is an important and sumptuous reproduction of the early 18th century. The original is located in Venice and belongs to a private collection.
An antiquarian customer of Rome, visiting our laboratory, gave us the original model of this splendid reproduction of a tea table. The original living room table was not in optimum condition, so we restored missing pieces on the legs and retouched the gilding in various elements. One of our private customers passing through, impressed by the elegance of the carvings and the refined shape, commissioned us an identical model, made to measure with the same characteristics. Given the great demand, we still reproduce this custom-made model.
