The luxury double leaf door Luigi Filippo style pantry-cupboard in precious walnut wood is produced with ancient techniques and assembled with mortise and tenon. Doors and sides are assembled on a framework with “internal diamond” central panels, typically used in the 18th and 19th century for Venetian furniture crafting. The drawers on the top are finely “S”-shaped, in order to soften the whole style of the cupboard. The product is embellished, in the lower part of the frame, by a refined inlay made of precious olive wood, with amazing greenish and amber-coloured grain. The cupboard is supported by 4 finely shaped legs in walnut wood; it is also hand-polished with water-based natural clays and antiqued by stone for an old-fashioned look. The polishing is established by shellac applied with a brush and protected by 95% beeswax. The mixture of the clays is produced in our laboratory as a result of different sampling and tests.
Available in 3 sizes, 95x44x170h. (picture), 120x48x180h.and 140x55x190h., the cupboard is made by hand and proportionately customizable for dimensions, type of wood and finishing.

We have managed to build this lovely luxury double leaf door Luigi Filippo style pantry-cupboard in precious walnut wood thanks to our studies on the original model, preserved in Trissino palace in Vicenza. The cupboard was firstly used by the owner – Count Alessandro Trissino - as a cupboard to keep albums and documents about the family, now it is owned by the municipality. We created some special milling cutters to produce the shaped drawers on the top, to replicate the same “S”-moulding shape and the same features of the original Luigi Filippo style cupboard. The furniture is designed, produced and polished in our art laboratory Vangelista Mobili 1960.
