Luxury pantry cupboard with polychrome decorations typical of the Tyrolean furnishings of the Zillertal, ideal for important entrances and exclusive bedrooms of luxurious mountain residences.
The small, rectangular pantry closet has a door and a drawer, with the frame supported by 4 elegant hand-turned supports. The basic shade of the furniture is sage green, shades of green tending to gray, and amber yellow. The exclusivity of this wardrobe lies in the choice of the important door decorations, which depict scenes of winter mountain life dating back to the mid-eighteenth century, while its bands are painted with floral and geometric designs, like the sides of the piece of furniture with bright colors typical of the Austrian furnishings of the Zillertal.
The pantry cabinet is made of solid spruce, to respect the typical Austrian furnishings.
The small pantry closet is designed, built and decorated by hand inside the Vangelista Mobili 1960 laboratory. Both the frame and the door are fitted with "tenon and mortise" joints, an ancient processing of handmade joints. The most complex part of this important and prestigious artifact is the decorations, made entirely by hand with natural products: the gypsum-based background consumed with a spatula is decorated in polychrome with water-based tempera, also made and mixed inside the our laboratory.
The luxury pantry closet is available in 3 sizes: 68x38x130h. - 80x45x165h. - 90x57x200h. Being an artifact built and decorated by hand, it can be made to measure for dimensions, type of colors and decorative subjects. The photo refers to the small size 68x38x130h.
The wardrobe is reproduced from the period model dating back to the first half of the 1700s, a typical luxury piece of furniture found in the shops of the splendid Austrian Tyrolean valleys of the Inntal.
Visiting the beautiful Zillertal valley in Austria, we were struck by the original model of this sought-after and luxurious small-sized cupboard in a sacristy. The structure was simple to make, in solid spruce wood, while the most complex part turned out to be the hand-made decorations with natural water-based colors. The detailed photographic material available, the experience of our decorators and their great ability, have allowed us to faithfully reproduce this luxury furniture.
