Important hand-decorated sideboard in Tyrolean style, lacquered in polychromy from dark green to garnet red, ideal furniture for prestigious entrances and dining rooms of luxury mountain homes and residences.
The shape of the stylistic system is clean and simple with a front drawer and 2 low doors, the extreme sides are notched in order to lighten the shape. The doors and the drawer are worked with the so-called “owl beak” profile. The sideboard is completed by an elegant plinth surmounted by a finely molded frame. The sideboard is lacquered in dark green polychromy with the central panels in white with a terra-gray patina, and elements such as the profile of the top frame and doors in garnet red. The exclusive and clean shape is also highlighted by this rich and important polychrome decoration with plant and geometric subjects.
The sideboard is produced in essence of solid fir, a wood typically used by the Trentino cabinetmakers in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries for the production of painted furniture.
The notched sideboard decorated in Tyrolean style is made with tenon and mortise joints: the workmanship of the structure, the lacquering and the decorations respect the same construction techniques and methods used in the 1600s. The most complex and laborious workmanship is given by the decoration : it begins with the preparation and application of the Bologna consumed chalk background, a semi-liquid mixture of water, chalk and graphite that creates an antique-flavored appearance, on which the tempera color is applied. The sideboard is then decorated by hand with a series of very fine brushes with vegetable, floral and baroque subjects.
The notched sideboard in Tyrolean style is produced and decorated by hand in the high-end cabinet-making workshop of the luxury brand Vangelista Mobili 1960 in the dimension 102x37x86h. It can be made to measure for dimensions, lacquer tones and decorative subjects. We give our customers the opportunity to view the unfinished Tyrolean sideboard in our laboratory, so that they can decide all the necessary customizations: our direct relationship with customers is a fundamental value that distinguishes us in the sector.
