Luxurious mirror in Louis XV Baroque style in gold and silver leaf. The complicated execution of the carvings and the accurate gilding in gold leaf make it a piece of furniture of high artisanal value, which can be inserted inside entrances above a console or dining rooms above the sideboard, in both classic and contemporary furnishing contexts.
The golden mirror has a rectangular shape with an important large-sized frame hand-carved in the classic Baroque eighteenth century Venetian style.
The structure is made from a solid block of solid lime, the finish is in gold and silver leaf.
The luxury mirror in Baroque style is designed, carved and lacquered in gold leaf inside the Vangelista Mobili art workshop; the frame is hand carved on an essence of solid linden in a block of solid wood and finished with a lacquer in gold leaf gouache.
The luxurious mirror is produced in the size cm. 110x180hx15 and can be made to measure according to size and finish.
Refined and important reproduction of the mid-seventeenth century, the original mirror is located in the Cà Rezzonico palace in Venice.
A few years ago one of our antiquarian clients brought us a large carved Venetian mirror for its restoration. Given the grandeur of the frame and the refined execution of the carvings we decided to reproduce a copy of this luxurious model.
