Description Model
Venetian-style art chair from the 1700s hand-carved figure eight and built in solid walnut essence. It is a Made in Italy luxury piece of furniture, which can be easily inserted in prestigious dining rooms of important residences and exclusive residences.
MODEL STRUCTURE
The backrest of the solid walnut chair is shaped in the shape of eight, finely carved on the bench with a refined cord contour. The legs are curly shaped in the stylistic typicality of 18th century Venetian furnishings, the seat is in fabric.
RAW MATERIAL
The chair with eight-shaped backrest is produced in solid walnut. The seat is hand-upholstered with jute straps and steel springs. Only natural products are used for polishing.
THE PROCESSINGS
This chair is a unique and exclusive model, produced, carved and polished in the Vangelista Mobili 1960 workshop. The refined lines, the accuracy of the carvings and the shellac and wax polishing are synonymous with a chair of the highest construction quality and of sophistication. The figure eight carving of the backrest and legs is done by hand on the bench and each construction element is joined with “male and female” joints. The chair is hand-polished with natural products: basic coloring with walnut-colored earth powders, shellac paint applied with a brush, light antique finishing expertly done by hand. Since the seat is also upholstered by hand, it is possible to choose the fabric or leather for the external covering.

History Model
CENTURY OF USE
Reproduced by hand from the original model dating back to the second half of the 1700s, the period chair is located in the dining room on the upper floor of the important Venetian residence Cà d’Oro.
HISTORICAL NOTES AND CURIOSITIES OF MOBILE
In the mid-eighties, we were asked for the restoration of an oval-shaped dining table with 12 chairs. The antique dealer asked us to reproduce the eight-back chairs, given the refinement of their shape. Curiously, it was much more complex for us to obtain the shapes than to make the chair itself. We have produced this elegant model of Venetian chair in combination with both 18th century carved tables and contemporary design tables, which thanks to the stylistic detachment strongly highlight its uniqueness.
