Precious '600 Venetian Luigi XIV hand-decorated Chinoiserie Secretaire Trumeau with a flap has 2 bodies with squared lines, recalling the typical furniture style of the 17th century. The base has 3 big drawers and a huge flap held up by 2 removable supports and hiding within some small drawers and secret compartments. The supporting legs in classic Luigi XIV style are turned by hand. The upper part (shelf) has 2 closed shutters. The elegant cornice on the top is moulded with a "double cyma" shaping. The sides are straight so that the decorations by hand can best be designed. Inside the flap and in the upper part, there are a lot of Chinoiserie hand-decorations.
