18th-century Baroque Tyrolean hand-decorated single leaf door corner unit with a drawer painted with geometric patterns and baroques. Thanks to the small size, it is perfect for luxurious mountain chalets and houses. The furniture is hand-crafted in the art laboratory of the brand Vangelista Mobili 1960, 100% Made in Italy.
MODEL STRUCTURE
The 18th-century Baroque Tyrolean hand-decorated corner unit has a drawer and a leaf door. The plan is prominent compared with the frame but it is lightened by a frame and it is supported by a lower skirting edged by a moulded frame. The inner part is arranged with a removable shelf.
RAW MATERIAL
The 18th-century Baroque Tyrolean hand-decorated single leaf door corner unit with a drawer is made of lime wood, baroque wood perfect for the lacquering, whereas the inside is made of solid spruce wood. These are the same types of wood used for the original corner unit bulti at the end of the 17th century.
THE PROCESSINGS
The corner unit is assembled with strong mortise and tenon joints, the drawer is assembled with dovetail joints whereas both the leaf door and the drawer have a moulded outline, as well as the edge of the plan . The frame is supported by a skirting topped by a finely shaped cornice. The furniture is lacquered by hand with pastel and bright colours, with a background in turquoise gesso Bologna, the drawer and the panel of the leaf door are white and decorated with water-based polychrome temperas, the geometric baroques are painted in light blue, yellow ochre and dark green. The decorations are then established with a water-based tempera and finally protected with a white French virgin beeswax. The corner unit is completely hand-crafted in our art laboratory.

History Model
CENTURY OF USE
The elegant line, the bright colours and the sophisticated decorations are the same as the original furniture, dating back to the end of the 17th century, Levico Terme area (Valsugana). The furniture is hand-crafted in real 18th-century Baroque Tyrolean style.
HISTORICAL NOTES AND CURIOSITIES OF MOBILE
When we visited one of our customers in Levico Terme, we noticed the original corner unit at the main entrance. We were impressed by the furniture so we decided to reproduce it to satisfy the strong demand of our clientele for a corner unit with elegant decorations for modern and classic furnishings. By the courtesy of our customer, we retrieved all the main features we need to hand-craft an excellent reproduction.
