Model Description

Model Structure

The sideboard is structured with 3 doors. The lower plinth is closed, surmounted by a refined molded frame. The protruding lid is surrounded by a perimeter shaped schooner that lightens the stylistic layout. The TV stand is decorated with bouquets of flowers, a typical subject of mountain paintings made in the Tyrolean workshops. The base color is patinated blue with earth powder, the profiles are carmine red. The 3 doors are presented with cream white paneling, with splendid decorations of brightly colored bouquets in the center.

Raw Material

The sideboard TV stand is made of solid fir wood. It is lacquered and decorated by hand with natu-ral products, on an undone “Bologna chalk” mixture. For coloring, polychrome water-based tempera is used.

Manufacture

The Tyrolean sideboard is produced, decorated and finished in the Venetian workshop of high cabi-net-making Vangelista Mobili 1960.

The TV stand sideboard is produced in 2 sizes: cm. 180x50x65h. - 200x55x70h. Being a luxury furniture built and painted by hand, it can be made to measure for size, color tones and decorative subjects.

Century of use

The TV cabinet is reproduced with the same characteristics as the period model dating back to the end of the 1600s, the original of which is located in an old farmhouse in Val di Cembra.

Historical notes and mobile curiosities

The production of this beautiful alpine-style furniture is very curious. One of our customers, owner of an important hotel in Trentino, contacted us to decorate a 3-door piece of furniture in rough fir wood, leaving us carte blanche on the choice of decorations. The paintings were made in our labo-ratory and hand made with natural water-based tempera. Once completed and positioned at the en-trance of the prestigious hotel furnished in Tyrolean style, the chest has met the greatest favor from our client, who has combined two more identical ones to be placed inside as many private residen-ces. Vangelista Mobili 1960 is the expression of made in Italy craftsmanship.
