Rectangular column hand-decorated cabinet in Tyrolean Baroque style with 4 pin-shaped legs. Given the small size, the cabinet can be perfectly placed in entrances as a telephone holder or in living rooms as a mobile lamp-holder column. It is an ideal piece of furniture for prestigious mountain residences.
The structure presents 2 drawers and a door, the frame is supported by 4 tall pin-shaped legs and the interior of the drawers are assembled with a “dovetail” joint. The clean line of the piece of furniture is highlighted by the original and refined decoration in polychromy done by hand: the bright colors typical of the 18th century Tyrolean baroque style, such as red, avio, beige, which are reproduced in the plan, stand out in the drawers, in the door and in the sides.
The cabinet is built with an essence of solid spruce; for the patination of the decorations brown earth dust, transparent shellac and virgin beeswax were used.
Handcrafted luxury furniture designed, built, decorated with plaster and hand-painted in the high-cabinetry workshop of the luxury brand Vangelista Mobili 1960. Of particular note is the very high artisan quality of the handmade decorations coated with powdered brown earth, then fixed to transparent shellac spread with a brush and protected with virgin white beeswax.
Built in two sizes 50x35x105h. - 90x38x118h. The artifact is produced and decorated by hand, so it can be customized according to dimensions, color shades of the tempera and decorative subjects.
We have reproduced this column cabinet from the original model of the splendid Trentino furnishings, which was made inside the craft shops in the flourishing area of the Val di Cembra, dating back to the mid-1600s.
A few years ago, one antique dealer, who is our client, brought us the original model of the piece of furniture to be restored . Given the exclusivity of this small furniture, we have decided to reproduce it faithfully, thus satisfying the great demand of our customers.
