Model Structure

The lacquered two-tone cherry wood TV stand has 2 large side doors without a framework and a central compartment used as a stereo stand; the furniture is supported by 4 turned brackets and fixed with a robust interlock.

Raw Material

The furniture is made of precious cherry wood (European cherry wood from Venetian forestry cultivation), whereas the back and the bottom are made of lime wood. The handlers in Luigi XV style are handcrafted in antiqued bronze.

Manufacture

The plan is processed by framework and embellished by sight oak nails. The body (which is under the plan) is linear, contemporary and assembled with robust interlocks. The TV stand is supported by 4 turned and onion shaped legs and fixed with oak thorns interlocks. The peculiarity is the aesthetic impact of the lacquering in opposition to the polishing. Lacquered two-tone: the plan is honey cherry wood coloured, the body is turquoise coloured. The furniture is hand-antiqued by stone with fake woodworms effect and scratched boards. Fixed by hand-waxed shellac and protected with white virgin wax, polished and antiqued with old techniques and natural products.

The shape was fascinating, so we have retrieved the original item and reproduced it with the same turning shape, the precious cherry wood and the structure of the plan.
