Turquoise two-colored rounded sideboard with bronzes and a secret drawer, reproduced in small dimensions in the Venetian Baroque style of the 1700s. The refinement of the shaped and wavy lines, combined with the originality of the two-tone finish make it an exclusive artifact, well insertable in valuable entrances and exclusive dining rooms.
The curved Venetian sideboard is structured with 2 doors, 2 drawers, a central secret drawer, and is surrounded at the bottom by an elegant hand-carved cord. The top is shaped like a "crossbow" in precious solid cherry wood. Even the stem, of solid linden wood, has a particular curved and shaped processing made with sawn staves to give the desired shape and glued together with "male female" joint by means of natural glue. The two-tone finish presents the top in light cherry / honey shades, while the lower part is turquoise lacquered, hand-aged with stone and brown earth-coated. Protected with yellow virgin beeswax, the sideboard is embellished with cast bronze accessories on an earth mold made with the ancient technique of "lost wax", chiseled and polished by hand.
The shaped top is made of solid cherry wood, while the frame is made of solid linden wood, which is suitable for lacquering, while the interiors are in solid spruce. The sideboard is hand aged with stone and patinated with brown earth, protected with virgin yellow beeswax. The accessories are in cast bronze on an earth mold.
This important shaped and rounded sideboard reflects the typical workmanship of the Venetian "marangoni" of the eighteenth century. The handicraft value of this product is given precisely by the hand-made manufacturing: the assembly of the slats, the carving of the cord, the lacquering and the antiquing, the making, chiseling and polishing of the bronzes denote the typical construction tendencies in use in the flourishing period of the Serenissima in Louis XV style.
The curved Venetian sideboard is produced in four sizes: 100x44x92h. - 120x50x95h. - 150x55x104h. - 170x58x112h. Being handcrafted it can be reproduced to measure for dimensions, essences and lacquering.
