MODEL STRUCTURE

The structure of the frame has a notched shape and the legs are high and shaped, typical of the furnishings produced in the 1600s in the Tyrolean artisan shops. The upper part of the wardrobe is surrounded by a refined molded frame decorated in faux marbling. The interior of the Tyrolean wardrobe has 4 adjustable shelves with rack ladders for pantry use. The door has 2 cream-colored panels decorated with 2 important flower vases, the outline of the door is finely decorated with polychrome flowers. The side pillars are painted with geometric motifs on a green base and ivory fillets and the same green is repeated in the lower part of the wardrobe with floral decorations in worn yellow. On the sides there are 2 ivory squares painted internally with floral decorations.

RAW MATERIAL

The pantry cabinet is made of solid fir, a wood typically used in the artisan workshops of Trentino in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries for the production of lacquered Tyrolean-style furniture.

THE PROCESSINGS

TheTyrolean wardrobe with one door is built, decorated and finished inside the Vangelista Mobili 1960 workshop using the same working techniques used in the Trentino artisan workshops of the 1600s and 1700s. The front part is made of a frame with vertical lateral pillars very large to be richly decorated. The hinges and the lock are in hot-forged hand-forged iron, without the use of welding, hand-punched and reproduced from the originals of the seventeenth century. The most complex part of the workmanship are the decorations, which reflect those of the vintage model coming from the florid Val di Fassa: the base color is Persian red, lacquering and decorations are handmade with natural products, on a base of plaster and lime mixture consumed.

MODEL DIMENSION IN THE PHOTO

The Tyrolean pantry cabinet in green and red tones is reproduced from the original model dating back to the first half of the 1600s in the size 122x56x185h.
