Custom-made production of curved and bombe nightstands, lacquered in white and cream and enhanced with decorative brass fittings in French Louis XV style. Handcrafted according to traditional Italian cabinetmaking techniques, each piece is unique and can be customized in size, finish, and details, making it ideal for classic and elegant interiors.

MODEL STRUCTURE

The nightstand, featuring soft and elegant lines, is crafted with two drawers. The front and sides showcase a refined double bombe shaping, highlighting its harmonious profile and artisanal craftsmanship.

RAW MATERIAL

The nightstand is crafted from high-quality materials: the top is made of solid cherry wood, while the base (lower part) is made of limewood, chosen for its workability and stability. The drawer interiors are made of solid fir, a lightweight and durable wood ideal for high-quality handcrafted furniture.

THE PROCESSINGS

Handcrafted nightstand in cherry and walnut – lacquered and hand-shaped. The nightstand is entirely handmade, using fine cherry wood for the top, veneered with a thickness of 4 mm. The base is assembled with vertical slats and hand-shaped with rasps according to traditional cabinetmaking techniques. The top frame is made of walnut with end-grain detailing. The finish is exclusively lacquered with natural products: the top is polished to a semi-gloss finish in a light honey cherry tone, while the lower part is lacquered in white/cream with natural earth powder patina, giving warm shades, sealed with French shellac varnish. The brass fittings, typical of French cabinetmaking, are hand-chiseled and cast in molds made of clay, completing the elegance and authenticity of the piece.

CENTURY OF USE

This is a fine reproduction in the Louis XV style, inspired by mid-18th century models. The nightstand is entirely handcrafted in the Vangelista 1960 workshop, using carefully selected materials and high-quality artisanal finishes. The craftsmanship includes bombe shaping and polishing with natural products, making each piece unique and true to the elegance of the historical period.

L’originale di questo pregiato comodino bombato e intarsiato trae ispirazione da un modello d’epoca conservato nel celebre Palazzo de la Roche a Parigi, dimora storica del XVIII secolo. Realizzato seguendo fedelmente le linee e le proporzioni dei mobili d’epoca, il pezzo è una riproduzione di altissima qualità, che ne conserva lo stile Luigi XV, le forme eleganti e armoniose e la raffinatezza dei dettagli. La complessa lavorazione artigianale, che include sagomature bombate e lucidatura con prodotti naturali, conferisce al mobile un alto valore artigianale, unico nella scelta delle essenze e nella cura dei particolari. Ogni pezzo è interamente costruito e rifinito a mano all’interno del laboratorio di alta ebanisteria del brand di lusso Vangelista 1960, rendendolo un autentico esempio di eccellenza italiana nella riproduzione di mobili storici.
