A unique piece of furniture that adds character, warmth, and prestige to any interior.

MODEL STRUCTURE

The sideboard is made of solid wood, with door and drawer fronts hand-decorated with floral and Baroque motifs typical of Alpine style. The shaped top, with substantial thickness, ensures sturdiness, while the sides feature carefully finished panels. The three lower doors conceal spacious internal shelves, while the three upper sliding drawers are completed with rustic-style handles. The shaped base with carved feet and the handcrafted finish create a patinated effect that highlights every detail of the decoration, made by the Vangelista 1960 workshop.

RAW MATERIAL

The sideboard is made of fir wood, a material traditionally used in artisan workshops of Trentino for its workability and natural warmth — qualities ideal for hand-painted decorations and perfectly expressing the authentic Alpine style.

THE PROCESSINGS

The hand-painted decorations, crafted with artisanal mastery, intertwine floral and Baroque motifs in vibrant shades of red, green, and yellow, harmoniously arranged on a soft and delicate light blue background.

MODEL DIMENSION IN THE PHOTO

History Model

CENTURY OF USE

The original design of this sideboard, inspired by Alpine style with Baroque decorations, dates back to the late 1600s and early 1700s, reflecting the elegance and craftsmanship of that historical period.

HISTORICAL NOTES AND CURIOSITIES OF MOBILE

This type of sideboard, typical of Alpine style decorated with Baroque and floral motifs, has its roots in the artisanal traditions of the mountain regions, particularly in the Val di Fiemme, dating back to the late 1600s and early 1700s. At that time, families in Alpine areas commissioned sturdy and functional furniture that was also richly decorated as a way to express their social status and beautify their rustic homes. The hand-painted decorations, often created by master carpenters and local painters from Val di Fiemme, drew inspiration from the surrounding nature and the widespread Baroque art across Europe, resulting in a unique blend of rustic simplicity and refined elegance. These pieces were not only used to store everyday items but also served as true symbols of tradition, craftsmanship, and cultural identity of the Alpine communities.
