Important narrow sideboard with 3 doors, decorated in 17th century Tyrolean style. The exclusivity of the artifact is given both by its slightly notched shape and by the richness of its decorations, finely handcrafted. The luxury brand Vangelista Mobili 1960 wanted to reproduce this splendid sideboard with a narrow and long shape for important entrances and prestigious dining rooms of refined residences and luxurious mountain residences.
The structure, slightly notched at the ends of the sides, has 3 doors and 2 internal compartments. The plinth is open in the sides and in the central part with a mixtilinear molding, typical shape of Tyrolean furniture produced in the mid-17th century in the Val di Fassa. The top has a profile with a slight "owl beak" rounding while below there is a contoured frame with "groove and bull" profiles. The sides are finely painted with a baroque motif in beige color. The 3 doors are painted with baroque, floral designs and an important decoration with a vase of flowers in the center of the 3 panels. The bands of the doors are also decorated with a running baroque. The frame and the profile of the top are painted in imitation marbling. The luxury accessories give the sideboard greater quality and value: bolts, locks and hinges are shaped in the typical style of Tyrolean accessories, hand-reproduced in hot-forged wrought iron from the original mid-1600s model, as they were made in high-end shops. cabinet making in Val di Fassa.
The sideboard is built in solid fir essence, a wood typically used for decorated furnishings, as it is a porous wood that adapts very well to the application of the lacquer.
Designed, built, lacquered and decorated in the high cabinetry workshop of the luxury brand Vangelista Mobili 1960, this precious sideboard finds its ideal location in mountain homes, important residences and luxurious residences. The decorations were fixed with transparent shellac paint applied with a hand brush and the whole sideboard is protected with virgin beeswax applied by hand with a soft cotton cloth. The frame and the profile of the top are painted in imitation marbling. The luxury accessories, shaped in the typical style of Tyrolean accessories, are reproduced by hand in hot-forged wrought iron at an artisan forge in the Belluno area. The attention to detail and small details, the use of handmade accessories and the rich decorations, make this sideboard an artifact with an original and exclusive flavor.

Towards the end of the 1980s, one of our dealers gave us the vintage model of this prestigious and extremely rare sideboard. For a thorough restoration of both the structural part and the decorations that have worn out over the centuries. Given the importance and uniqueness of the artifact, we have created a detailed conservative material by obtaining detailed photos of the decorations, reproduction of shapes of the plinth and of the hand-forged iron hinges. The result was excellent, with the passion and experience of Vangelista Mobili 1960, we have faithfully reproduced a unique Tyrolean sideboard model.
