Elegant shaped solid sideboard with 2 doors and bronzes, handmade in the classic Louis XV Venetian Baroque style. We have created 2 models for the entrance of the prestigious Palazzo Dandolo, better known as the luxurious 5-star Hotel Danieli in Venice.
The structure has 2 doors, supported by 4 tall saber-shaped legs. The shape of the stylistic system is made with the front and sides moved and shaped like a "crossbow". The back is worked with a frame, which gives the product greater value. The shaped and wavy elements are made with the union of vertical axes glued together with a solid internal joint and wisely shaped by hand to obtain the desired "crossbow" shape. The moved and shaped Venetian sideboard of the '700 is embellished with bronzes made and chiseled by hand, adapted to heat and coated with earth dust. The polishing done by hand with natural products enhances the chromaticity tending to the reddish typical of solid cherry.
The sideboard is produced in solid cherry wood, with the interiors in fir essence.
The shaped and wavy elements of the sideboard are made with the union of vertical boards glued with a solid internal joint and wisely worked to obtain the "crossbow" shape. The Vangelista Mobili 1960 artisan company is the only company that produces solid wood shaping and hand bending. The top is worked with a frame. The sideboard is polished with the Farsetti method, workmanship used in the Venetian workshops from the first half of the 1600s: the shellac varnish is spread with a brush, the antiquing is done by hand with stone, the glossy finish is obtained by a pad with straw oil and pumice stone powder, through 22 passages with which the warm veins of cherry wood are highlighted.
The sideboard is built in the 150x56x103h size. This luxury furniture is designed, built and polished inside the high-cabinetry workshop Vangelista Mobili 1960. Its artisanal production makes any custom-made execution possible.
The refinement of the crossbow shaped forms and the choice of the precious cherry essence characterize the furnishings produced in the Venetian workshops from the early eighteenth century.
Our company Vangelista Mobili 1960 was commissioned to create a part of the prestige furnishings of the Hotel Danieli at Palazzo Dandolo in Venice. Two pairs of these moved and shaped sideboards are located at the main entrance. The choice of solid cherry wood was dictated by the precise desire to highlight these models compared to other pastel colored and gold leaf lacquered furnishings. Having created these Venetian-style pieces for a Venetian palace is a source of great pride for our company that respects the true handmade Made in Italy.
