Description Model
Curved French console table, reproduced in Louis XV style with cherry wood top and bronze accessories, two-tone lacquered in antique yellow. Suitable for prestigious entrances. Artifact goes back to the second half of the eighteenth century, France. Inside the splendid Castle of Chambord.
MODEL STRUCTURE
This luxury console table has a rounded top both in the front and in the sides, shaped like a “crossbow” and made with a precious essence of solid cherry wood. The frame is in solid lime wood. The console is equipped with 2 large drawers assembled with handmade “dovetail” joints, as well as a secret central drawer. The artifact is two-colored, with the top by matt natural cherry and the lower part lacquered in French yellow. The console is enriched by bronze accessories reproduced in perfect Louis XV Baroque style and by a hand-carved string that surrounds all the external sides of the perimeter.
RAW MATERIAL
The top of this refined console table is made of solid cherry wood, with a solid linden wood frame. The accessories are in cast bronze on an earth mold.
THE PROCESSINGS
The console table is a handcrafted reproduction of excellent build quality, designed, built, carved and hand-lacquered inside our Vangelista Mobili 1960 laboratory. The drawers are assembled with dovetail joints, the lower part is lacquered in shades French yellow, hand aged with stone and coated with natural earth in brown tones; all the accessories are made of cast bronze on an earth mold marked on the original model and polished with cloth.

The console is produced in three dimensions: 120x42x86h – 140x43x86h (as shown in the picture) – 160x44x86h. Being completely handmade, it can be reproduced to size and finishes.

CENTURY OF USE
The original piece of this very refined artifact dates back to the second half of the 18th century and is located in France, inside the splendid Castle of Chambord.
HISTORICAL NOTES AND CURIOSITIES OF MOBILE
A few years ago, during a trip to the Loire, we visited the imposing and famous Chambord castle and we were struck by a pair of original constructions in Louis XV style with a rounded shape, lacquered in yellow tones, dating back to the second half of the eighteenth century and placed opposite each other on the second floor of the ballrooms. Given the strong demand of our customers, we immediately thought of its reproduction and with the kind permission of the owners we have obtained all the material necessary to reproduce them.
