Classic ‘700 Asolean Venetian double leaf door chest TV stand in walnut wood, 100% Made in Italy. The choice of walnut wood and clear lines date back to mid 18th century.
The classic '700 Asolean Venetian style double leaf door chest TV stand in walnut wood has 2 front doors and the sides are assembled with a framework, whereas the supporting legs, "sabre-shaped", enlighten the whole TV stand. The central part is divided in the inner part and hides within 2 adjustable shelves with a wooden rack.
The classic '700 Asolean Venetian style TV stand chest is made of walnut wood, typically used in the 18th century by Venetian craftsmen, whereas the internal part is made of solid spruce wood. The hinges are inside the furniture and the keyhole is made of hot-forged iron, as the original furniture.
The TV stand is assembled with tenon and mortise joint, typically used in the 18th century. The "sabre"-shaped legs are handmade. Polished with natural clays dissolved in water, to give the right colour, the chest is then antiqued by stone in the external part for an old-fashioned look, established by hand-waxed shellac applied with a brush. In the final step, the furniture is polished by hand with a straw yellow and pumice stone pad, with a constant movement: this is an important step because the furniture looks shiny and the polishing strongly enhances the grain and chromaticism of precious walnut wood.
Available in 2 sizes 160x53x73h.- 190x55x73h., the chest is handcrafted and customizable for dimension, quality of wood and type of finishing. The furniture is designed, handcrafted and polished in Vangelista Mobili 1960's laboratory art 100% Made in Italy.
This precious chest TV stand is a reproduction of the original furniture built in classic '700 Asolean Venetian style , dating back to the first half of 18th century, in northern Vicentino.

It was structured as a cupboard, with an elevating cupboard and used as a food pantry. Vangelista Mobili has retrieved the original product and reproduced it with the same features, modifying the central part with double leaf door, thanks to our detailed pictures and profiles tracked on plywood and technical dimensional drawings.
