MODEL STRUCTURE
Finely hand-painted double leaf door chest TV stand in 17th-century baroque Tyrolean style has 2 doors processed with a framework, enriched inside with a “horizontal diamond” shaped cornice as in vogue in Val di Fiemme’s furnishings. The side is processed by framework, whereas the plan is squared and embellished by a lower cornice. The 4 supporting legs are “sabre”-shaped in the final part and enlighten the whole structure. Inside the doors, there are 2 removable compartments.
RAW MATERIAL
The sideboard cabinet TV stand is made of solid spruce wood, widely used for handpainted mountain furnishings and ideal for decorations, thanks to its large and compact fibre. The supporting legs are made of lime wood.
THE PROCESSINGS
The finely hand-painted double leaf door chest TV stand in 17th-century baroque Tyrolean style is assembled with double-rebate hand made joints, whereas the boards are out together with a slot in joint system, stable over time. The supporting legs are polished with abrasive papers and then finely hand-shaped; after these steps, the TV stand can be finally decorated. The most difficult and elaborated step is the painting: we apply a semi-liquid mixture “gesso Bologna” (natural mixture with calcium carbonate and chalk, dissolved in water) applied with a palette knife and after the mixture has dried, the furniture is handpainted with water-based tempera with a variety of thin brushes. The quality of decorations and the attention to details make this furniture a symbol of 100% Made in Italy. The polychrome drawings show floral and baroque patterns as in vogue in Val di Fiemme with different colours: beige on doors panels, avio and pink, dark green and yellow ochre flowers bouquet. The baroque central drawing of the sides is embellished inside with light blue colour. The chest is then coated with brown clay that permeates the furniture. Last but not least, it is established by hand-waxed shellac applied with a brush and protected by 96% French virgin beeswax applied with a soft cloth.

The chest TV stand is available in 2 sizes small 170x55x76h. – big 190x55x76h, and it is hand-crafted and customizable for dimensions, colours and decorations. The furniture is designed, manufactured and decorated in our art laboratory.
