Description Model
Luxury hand-decorated shaped Tyrolean single leaf door Corner unit. The elegant lines and the bright colours are the same as the original product, which dates back to the late 17th century Val di Fassa, Trentino-Alto Adige.
MODEL STRUCTURE
The hand-decorated corner unit has a crossbow single leaf door, the plan has the same shape as the frame and the outline is finely “s” moulded, the shaped single leaf door is handmade with a framework and the inner side has a removable sheld. All the structure and the details are reproduced from the original corner unit.
RAW MATERIAL
The luxury hand-decorated shaped Tyrolean single leaf door corner unit is entirely made of lime wood, which has no knots and it is easy to shape thanks to the soft fibre.
THE PROCESSINGS
The corner unit is assembled by mortise and tenon joints, the shaping of the front is made of solid wood, the single leaf door is crafted by framework. The frame of the corner unit is supported by 2 bracket feet embellished by a cornice on the top which surrounds all the perimeter. The most difficult step is the decoration with gesso Bologna (semi-liquid mixture with rabbit glue, water and calcium sulphate) for a worn effect to create cavities where we insert natural clays, and then it is painted with water-based polychrome temperas and brushes of various thickness. The decorations of the leaf door’s panel show geometrical and baroque patterns dark green and red with a white background whereas the frame is pomegranate and brick red. The decorations and lacquers are established with a transparent shellac applied with a brush and final protection with French white virgin beeswax with a soft cotton cloth. The corner unit is handcrafted and decorated with natural products, distinctive feature of Vangelista Mobili 1960.

HISTORICAL NOTES AND CURIOSITIES OF MOBILE
When we visited a chalet in Val di Sole, we immediately noticed at the entrance the original corner unit, with shaped outlines and handpainted with geometric and baroque patterns. We were strongly impressed by the furniture so, thanks to the owners, we decided to reproduce faithfully the product with the same features as the original corner unit. Thanks to our love for the decorated tyrolean furnishings and the strong demand from our customers, we are one of the few companies who keep looking for important and exclusive products.
