Luxurious two-color shaped Louis XV mirror with black lacquer and worn gold leaf. The frame is reproduced from the original French model dating back to the mid-1700s, located at the important Chateau d’Amboise in the Loire in France. The shape is extremely shaped, complex and exclusive, it determines the high craftsmanship value. The frame structure is made of solid linden wood, a wood that adapts very well to being carved. Assembled with a “comb” joint in 4 parts, the section of the frame is molded with an elegant hand-carved bull that surrounds its entire perimeter. Lacquered with a two-tone finish in black Marquinia, with the bull carved in patinated gold leaf. The careful aging is done by hand with special joinery tools, aging is strongly emphasized by the coating with turquoise earth dust. The mirror is ground by hand following the same shape as the frame. The frame of the XVIII century Venetian Baroque style is built in the dimension: 95x123hx4.5 thickness. The mirror being made by hand can be reproduced to measure for dimensions and lacquer tones.
